Sadly our friend and colleague Ed Sossich passed away suddenly last week. Ed was a funny and gregarious kitchen designer that made his customers smile first – before focusing on the design task at hand.
From our website’s about page
Ed Sossich and our owner Paul McAlary have worked together at many different showrooms over 20 plus years. Ed refers to the pair as Batman and Robin although who is who is up for debate. Ed is quick with a joke and many of his customers find his jovial approach to the design process makes their decision making easier. Ask Ed about some of the celebrities he’s worked with like Charles Barkley, or David Morse. He’s a great story teller.

30 years ago Ed and I first worked together at the South Philly Home Depot. We would go on to work together at other stores and showrooms over the years. Ed made friends easily and would become close to many of the people we worked with. While I might know a small percentage of a home centers employees by name, he knew everyone well and everyone knew Ed. This week, people have been calling me to express their sympathies that I haven’t spoken to in years, but that Ed still kept in touch with. To say he will leave a big hole is an understatement.
